sex offenses with a minor. police arrested cesar urieta after family members found inappropriate messages and pictures sent to their son. the suspects have been renting a room with the family in mountain view. detectives are looking for possibly more victims. >> claims of self-defense is morning in san jose's eighth homicide. this happened to around 8:00 p.m. last on pine ridge way. investigators said the man lives in the home is the shooter. they claim that he opened fire when a man broke into his home. >> two workers are hurt after a scaffolding accident in san francisco. this morning the entire construction site is closed. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. it had about two workers were installing scaffolding and a collapse.

investigators say, one worker fell 40 ft., the other 30 ft.. >> a martinez refinery will not let federal safety inspectors back on their property to investigate. crews with the u.s. chemical safety board showed up at the refinery on february 13th a day after those workers were hurt. now tesoro will not let them back on the property. they say that it was just a minor incident. it does not fall under federal jurisdiction. to the to injured workers suffered first and second- degree acid burns. >> after a huge fight in the ukrainian parliament a deal has now been reached. early presidential elections have been announced along with promises to reform a coalition government. the

the covered california site malfunction started on wednesday. the exchange says the enrollment function on the website was taken offline due to a software problem. repair work has been going on around the clock since the problem started. covered california reported that 829-thousand people had signed up for individual policies through the first two weeks of february. an alameda county superior court judge has ruled that internet retailer overstock.com engaged in false advertising and unlawful business practices. the judge found the utah- based company used formulas to create fictional comparison prices and chose the highest comparison for an item without informing consumers. the judge ordered overstock to pay $6.8 million in civil penalties to eight california counties. the order also prohibits overstock from advertising reference prices that are not based on actual prices offered in the marketplace. cahowthis morning, safety researchers are taking back assumptions that older drivers cause more accidents on the roads. a new study shows drivers age 70 and older are less

last year, stow returned home when his insurance company stopped paying for his stay at a live-in facility. from spring training in arizona. giants players and coaches also reacted to the sentencing. third base coach tim flannery has been one of the stow family's biggest supporters. since the attack, he has helped organize at least two dozen concerts with his band. all the money from those concerts has gone to the stow family. flannery says, while the sentencing brings some closure. he still is concerned about bryan's future. he says he knows the stow family is dealing with tough times. and that he has already planned several more concert fundraisers. once the baseball season ends. the dodgers issued a
